Both the black and beige would work with blue and gray denim. The most important factor is, what is the shade of the denim. Is it lighter as shown in the pictures? Then I think the beige booties work better. If you are wearing dark blue and charcoal gray, then the blacker booties are good.

I'd go with the lighter natural shade.

Love the style. Buy the beige ones (if not both), I was going to say. But then I looked on the website and saw the beige is actually "red." Hmmm. The pics do show reddish shadow-lines around the edges.... Is it that the base is a light natural but the lava wash is red? Could be a weird hybrid IRL.

Delicious! For me (and I know this should be about you) I would choose the natural shade - I would find it best for the late spring/summer.

For you -bit of a tough call. Do you wear 'blackish' footwear more than a natural tone?

I was shopping for a Fluevog slip on but ... these!

Which color would be most versatile with blue or grey denim, which I wear always? When I zoom in, the leather looks like yummy broken in boots. The description for both colors calls it an "exclusive lava wash."

(pskaufman Platt Western Boot at Free People) http://www.freepeople.com/shoe.....nkle-boot/

ETA but I also was thinking about the Matisse Sydney from Una's post.
