My initial reaction to the jacket was very favorable. It was the one thing in the catalog that really caught my eye.</p> <p>With the Levi's, it was probably more in the hips/thighs than the seat. And I just don't like the feel of extra fabric there in pants or jeans. Added to a waist that was borderline too tight, just made the overall fit wrong.&nbsp;<br />And the snake pattern jeans that look so good on you didn't work either. They were a bit big overall but mostly just too long for my short legs. Hemming wouldn't help because there's just too much fabric in the upper leg so there was bunching above the knee.</p> <p>Sterling, no need to apologize! I really appreciate your thoughts, and everyone's, on the subject.&nbsp;</p> <p>I've not yet decided for sure. As I mentioned in another post, I am returning the Levi's as I didn't like the fit after a more thoughtful try on. The others are still in the running but I am waiting until I receive all my orders before deciding for sure.&nbsp;</p> <p>Hubs loves the zebra jacket and the leopard coat. He thinks they are very 'me.' Same with the black/gray zebra sweater/jacket. </p> <p>But I'm having second thoughts about the VB blazer, based on his reaction to it. His face when I first walked out in it clearly showed he didn't love it! He joked about getting out the bag pipes. When he commented that it will be for work not going out, I clarified that I wanted to try it with jeans, tee and boots for a more casual look. I don't think he was sold but said of course if I like it it's fine and agreed that the quality is very nice.&nbsp;</p> <p>Anyway.....all that to ask, how much do you let your SO's opinion influence what you wear? It’s lightweight and very comfy. This one fits well in the 8 so sizing down worked for me. </p> <p>The leopard print is also light weight (good for my climate), very soft and comfy and fits well. </p> <p>The black and grey zebra definitely runs big. I got the petite m and it’s plenty roomy. Again, it’s a great weight for me. I had been off animal prints for some time but they feel fun again. </p> <p>Oh my, the VB plaid jacket is just gorgeous! So nicely made and it feels amazing on. I think it fits well other than the sleeves being too long but that’s typical for me. </p> <p>I like the VC navy plaid jacket too. It may run a bit big but I’m glad I got the 10, the 8 might have been too snug in the arms. The fabric is soft and light enough to wear for transitional fall. </p> <p>I wasn’t too hopeful about the black Levi’s as I haven’t worn the brand lately and don’t know the fit. But it seems really good and I like the button fly and that they aren’t skinnies. </p> <p>I do have another order on the way so I need to try the rest before deciding for sure but the happiness factor is high with all of these! </p>
