Another similar sandal is Ancient Greek Sandals. They are flat leather. The design is simple, except for the ones with the wings! I was interested in them, but they are expensive. It doesn't get steamy in Maine but I do want to be able to wear them comfortably in Puerto Rico where it is sure to be steamy. I just want a pair of flat sandals that have a more modern and stylish look to them, but I think I need to find a pair that has less coverage, not so much strap. So I'll keep looking. Straps look stiff though might work for high volume foot. No footbed support.
