These are three new dresses that I wanted to try dressing down. The last one I had originally left behind last week because I thought it was too sexy for me, but today I realized that sneakers could help bring it down a few notches. Is it still too much for casual wear?</p> <p>Am I doing this right? Or would these be better with pure white sneakers? Also, do you think I need the tie belt for the pink dress?</p> <p>ETA: I updated the photos to include my head. I had originally posted photos cropped from the neck down, but carambola brought up the idea of a bookending effect with my hair, so I uncropped the photos. I didn't think it made a difference, but obviously I'm still learning! And now I see it -- the darker shoes (which are purple)&nbsp;DO look better if you can see my dark hair. Interesting!</p>
