They are not fleece-lined but they are waterproof. I am kind of in love with them - chestnut Gore-tex waterproof outer with black window-pane lines and a black tongue. The top cap is sort of almond shaped so they are surprisingly flattering on, and cream, which makes them feel special. There's that big "Gore Tex" label, which apparently is "a nod to Everest expedition suits." To me, it's just a cool graphic element. They're comfortable and they fit.I would wear them in a refined casual way - with the JCrew straight jeans and a sharp sweater.</p> <p>Do you like them? No worries if you don't (not sure everyone will like that tag); I expect I'll keep them anyway - but would love to hear your thoughts.&nbsp;</p>
