The jacket is really pretty and I can see it with white pants for spring. I would still wear black pants but with lighter color tops and maybe loafers or flats rather than boots. I have neglected lighter summer toppers myself, and it's something I'm on the hunt for. Florals are another great option, they tend to have a direct correlation to springtime feelings. Of course there is also the option of adding in more white which always perks things up, I forgot to mention that initially. EDIT #1: And showing a bit more skin. Pushing up sleeves, letting out some ankle, that sort of thing. EDIT #2: Ooh also! If you like wearing dark colors, you can simply lighten up the fabrications you are wearing. To take these into spring, I think swapping out the footwear will be the major thing; oxfords, pointy flats, smoking slippers, or even short boots would be an immediate change. For the first outfit, you could also try swapping the black pants for gray or any other light shade. I'd welcome suggestions on how to take these looks forward into Spring.
