Very nice puffer! It looks great on you, not bulky or overwhelming.

Too bad about the gloves, they sure look nice! Hope you'll find a good replacement for them soon.

That is a fantastically stylish puffer! I'm so glad you found one that is so flattering Lyn. I was hoping for a pic of you with the hood on! I'm SO sorry that you lost the gloves. I mourn alongside you. At least you didn't loose the coat!

Awesome! I am a puffer fanatic. I agree about belted puffers, the waist definition really makes all the difference. I went and bought a belt for my own brown puffer, which came sans belt.

Lovely, ladylike gloves too!

It looks terrific, Lyn! I really like it. So glad you will be keeping warm. The swishing sound can be annoying, but you will probably get used to it, and the light weight can help to make up for it!

FAB.U.LOUS !!!

I love that it has a belt, too ! And the gloves are amazing, I am a sucker for herringbone. Puffers have come such a long way since 10 years ago or so. Is yours down ? I am allergic to down ( so that prevents me from taking your coat ), but I found one with Thinsulate. Mine should be arriving soon, I hope, considering it is 20 degrees here today.

Enjoy your toasty warm coat.

Pre YLF I never thought a longer puffer coat can be stylish on AND work for me! (I still have a short one in white for sports and casuals. But Angie's seasonal posts from last and this year inspired me to give it a try.

I have a LBC (little black coat) of wool, with black fur shawl collar-but it's 4 years old now, and wanted a change witouth sacrifying the sleek silouette and the dressiness in a smarter style. In fact, looking at these picties, I have to say, the wool coat doesn't have any of a great, sleek siloutte anymore at all, as used it a lot in the car, and is starting beeing baggy in the back, if you now what I mean.

So, here it is,her royalty, THE. PUFFER. COAT.
I like it so much!
-It's matte black and has black hardware.
-It's so clever cut (I think tapperring in a bit at hems rather than going A line is more flattering for me).
-It has a snap closure, and don't have patch pockets which can add lot of bulk (just simple upward pockets, wich you even can close with snaps if not using)
-It has a stylish self belt with buckle, placed a bit higher then I would like but decided it still works
-It has an oversized hood (so happy I can protect my do without squeezing it under a hat) which actually acts like a big collar on front, but has a tie onthe back similar like the belt for mantaining it flat (on my back).

Hope you'll like it too. DO you?

Thus, I do have a very very small complain...it's swishing a lot:-))...and this can be a bit annoying for me, as I am a hearing aids wearer- but I didn't realized this until haven't worn it on a daily basis. I think will get used to it, soon.

Last 3 picties were my favourite new black/beige gloves: balck suede on palm, and beige tweed on the other side which were so so sweet and beeing a bit chuncky worked so so well with my puffer coat and both of my favourite scarves this season . Gloves had little leather buckles, too, on front---it was love at first sight, but

unfortunatelly I have lost them second day after wearring'em new!!!

Too bad I cannot find another pair in my size, so really mourning them:-((

But Oh well, I guess we cannot have everything!:-))
(sorry for beeing so long, thanx for taking time for reading and comments)
