Big thumbs up from me. I didn't try this specific pair, but I tried on a pair of dressy jogger-style pants by Theory a while back, and I really liked them. I didn't get them, because I thought I could try to make something like them. I never did that, but I still like the idea of this style--easy to wear, stylish, feels casual but looks dressy.

I know it's hard to tell anything without pics.
I decided these were keepers because of the comfortable skimming shape which I think make them less fussy, so I'm more likely to wear them. . They work with my dressy peplum tops. I've taken them in for hemming- they are SO long I could only save an inch of the split hem; if I let them drape too much over shoe, the split " splays" out unattractively.

My idea is to hem them long, partly because with the zippers I really can't carol them, but also I can wear them over booties for one look, and with low- vamped pumps- up to 2"( sorry, feet- as in Angie's dress ball post) for dressy.

I am trying these tuxedo slim pants as a possibility for dressy/ semi- dressy ( and maybe even work if downplay the tuxedo). Downside is elastic waist- I would not tuck as in photo. But different types of untucked tops work well and the gathers are not too bulky underneath.
Also they are LONG on me- would have to hem up several inches. This is do- able since the zippers start farther up the leg, and there is a split hem, so it would just end up being a shorter slit at the ankle.
Usually Theory doesn't " get me" so I almost did not try, but I guess the style allows more hippage while fitting the waist.
I might have Theory- sale goggles. However, they seem pretty nice, hopefully versatile and would work for several seasons.
Anybody else tried these?
