I have had bombers in the past that ended up bugging me a lot if I wore them done up because the waist kept...I don't know how to explain...sort of crawling up even further, in motion and such. It isn't as much a problem if you wear it open, of course. I guess it is the elastic bottoms on them. Especially when my waist measurement was a lot smaller than hip measurement, the jacket's bottom would sort of inch upwards. I honestly don't know if that is because the jackets were actually too LONG for me, or too short!
