I.e. is there a tiny lift in the wedge? The strap will help with comfort for me. Some of my discomfort in flats has to do with needing to grip constantly with my toes to hold them on. Shoes with straps remove that obstacle and keep me more secure. VERY comfortable. Not a blister, scrape, ache or pain. Sheer pleasure. I could have walked in these shoes another 6 hours. This is a very rare find with a Summer shoe.
