I thought it worked&nbsp;in current looks, and not just because it's a hipster constant.</p> <p>I'm also noticing how they balanced volume over volume with the structure of skin. ;)</p> <p>Personally if I ever really&nbsp;want to try out the idea of&nbsp;boyfriend jeans (and not my current defaults of&nbsp;my boyfriend's jeans or stretched out skinnies), I think I'll probably go for the oldest large pair I can find in the men's section of the thrift store, distressing and stains a plus, and hunt through until I can get a slightly tapered ankle. &nbsp;I had a distressed&nbsp;pair of men's jeans that I bought in Italy and absolutely loved, but they finally tore out the whole knee and my patches got patches and the fabric was getting tissuey.
