Me, I'd buy neither (I don't like beige and they are verrrrry expensive). But on people who look good in beige, #1 would definitely be my choice. Not sure about the longevity of the look, but I find the shorter lengths more flattering (unless you are really tall). I don't know much about sateen finishes but my concern would be that it might not wear as well as a more classic finish. I am also shopping for trenches. Alas, I can't spend this much!
