I see this all the time with my younger cousins and hate it. They'll either wear completely casual loungewear/athleticwear, leggings as pants, PJs to class, etc., or they're done up to look as sexy as possible (which I don't find sexy at all). Everything is skintight, short, low-cut,&nbsp;legs AND cleavage out, and worn with huge stilettos. I am all for looking comfortable and sexy, but the trend is to dress as if there are no other possible options. No ladylike, feminine, androgynous, presentable, quirky, classic, arty...no style descriptors other than totally casual half the time and OTT sexy the rest of the time. And always with a ton of makeup whether you're wearing sweats or a bandage dress. Bonus points if you can see your foundation line because your makeup is too orange for your face. If you know any teens or college students you know the look. I would love to see any subtlety or personal style.</p> <p>I also hate when anyone wears nonprescription eyeglasses as a fashion accessory. I am extremely nearsighted and am lucky to live in a time where glasses and contacts can correct my disability. Yes, my frames look cool, but they're a medically necessary accessory.
