But I do have to be careful about placement of belts. I also think a belt would be more of a hinderance for me. I'm afraid I'd never bother to use it. I think what's most off about the trench is the fabric. I suspect you’re after something that drapes and glides over your body better. Something sturdier. This trench looks too raincoat-y. The vertical seaming is GREAT. The sleeves are far too long and the you look good in revere collars. Does that make sense?</p> <p>BTW, you look good in belted styles. I agree that it's nice, but not spectacular. I think it does show that you should look for a belted version though, because unbelted it's just going to tent out over your chest. The belt will bring it back in. I fastened the belt, on the smallest hole, and it was still quite roomy. and the sleeves are really long. There's a zipper feature on the sleeve that would make shortening them very complicated. </p> <p>If someone is looking for a white trench though--it really is a beautifully made jacket at a great price.
