Sometimes things work, and sometimes they don't, and it's all good. I'm a rectangle (remember when I thought I was a pear?) so I have the challenge of a thick waist. Since I'm very straight/have no defined waist, I was hoping this blazer would create the illusion of actually having a waist. Pic 1 is the size S and pic 2 is the size M. The small is too small in the waist - this is what happens to us rectangles - and unlike most blazers, I would want to wear this one closed. The medium (pic 2) is too large everywhere. I can do my own alterations, but I've never done anything that involved. Both are being returned. Boo hoo! I know, "Its not me it's the clothes," but wow what a difference between the two sizes. Oh well, "NEXT!"</p> <p>Oh and sorry for the way I look in pic 1. I had just gotten back from yoga class at the gym, I have no make-up on and my hair is a mess! The weird lighting on the wall is just from the sun reflecting in through the oval glass in the front door, and through the bay window, which are both behind the camera.</p>
