You tried some great styles (i think 6/7 is cozy and fun, 1 seems great for with a coat). I am wearing a bulky scarf in the Liberty method, like the oversized scarf on the first page of examples (or the chunky braid on the 2nd page, on which the model is very good at looking bored).
