My mom was a huge Lady Di fan (she too has a Diana engagement ring copy) and I remember being glued to the TV watching her wedding. It felt like a fairy tale come true at the time! Considering the aftermath, I can't get quite as excited. I am not an avid follower of European royalty but I do love browsing through my MIL's Bunte magazines when I am in Germany. They always seem to have lots of pictures and gossip about the various royal houses. I still have a mug from their engagement, with their two faces on it. LOL!</p> <p>While I haven't been following this story avidly, I think they are a good match and have been together for so long they will likely avoid all the pitfalls of public life that his parents and his uncle and Fergie fell into. True modern romance of the fairy-tale characters.
