A lower contrast is less horizontally cutting on a short torso as is wearing a lower rise. For any of you on the fence, it's supple but still structured and the buckle is very cool. It's a belt you could wear for years.</p> <p>That said, I passed on it as the 1 3/4" width felt like too much on my short-waisted frame. The width and the buckle size just seemed to take up too much of my limited torso real-estate!</p> <p>Have we ever talked about proportion in terms of belts? I feel like we have, but can't recall.
