Interesting. I am not sure this applies to me (I mean the part about thinking more big picture or abstractly in formal clothes). I will have to ponder it. In my jammies.

http://www.theatlantic.com/bus.....ly/391802/

Putting on formal clothes makes us feel powerful, and that changes the basic way we see the world,” says Abraham Rutchick, an author of the study and a professor of psychology at California State University, Northridge. Rutchick and his co-authors found that wearing clothing that’s more formal than usual makes people think more broadly and holistically, rather than narrowly and about fine-grained details. In psychological parlance, wearing a suit encourages people to use abstract processing more readily than concrete processing.

Except under extreme temperature circumstances, even though I work at home, I feel more ready to work if I am dressed in something that makes me feel good. And I like to stride around the room while talking on conference calls. Probably I'd feel even more kick ass if I wore my Stuart Weitzman pumps, but I don't do shoes in the house...

And yes,mom doing a lot of links today!
