Lisa that's an excellent idea, I once went to a wedding where my lack of pizzazz annoyed my tablemate and she showed me how to tie my pashmina just like you described, I love doing it to cover my arms but never thought about doing it with an open poncho and now feel like I should have ordered number 1 to try it out! It is cashmere and not overwhelming . However I do tend to struggle with what to wear underneath them. I am so literal, it had never occurred to me to do that. I tried it today in fact and it worked really well. I'm a 14/16, apple shape with a full bust and I'm 5'4 so I don't even have the glorious height some of the plus models have to pull off a poncho!
