I love red lipstick and think it can be a great everyday look for some people. However, on me it looks really dramatic. I have fair skin and dark hair and big lips. It was a Goldilocks moment at the Laura Mercier counter (not too orange but not too blue; not too matte but not glossy) before I settled on Truly Red and I have to say I'm loving it!<br /> For the blonde/fair in YLF, allow me to recommend MAC's Russian Red. I love it but it was a bit too blue for my skin tone.<br /> Angie--you sport a gorgeous red lipstick from time to time--which one do you wear?</p> <p>Also, for the compulsive make-up lovers, I recommend using a nude colored pencil that you can use to sort of line the outside of your lips (before and after applying red lipstick) just to keep the lines clean and crips.
