I don't wear them with skinnies because I generally don't like skinnies tucked into anything lower than mid-calf, and they are too bulky to fit under straight legs. I am considering selling mine, though, as they give me massive ball-of-foot pain for some reason that no amount of inserts and orthotics has been able to remedy. (I believe Jean also had this problem with her taller carsons, but everybody else seems to find them comfortable, so it may just be my bizarre feet.)
