I wear a pair of tiny gold triangles in the upper holes, and a pair of tiny clear crystal studs (baguette setting) in my regular holes. (Both are from Big Bang NYC which makes really nice quality small earrings, BTW.) I think it looks pretty and, as Rachy suggests, pretty tame.
