I hear you about the utility of men's cuts, especially in tops. I often wear men's tees and sweaters, which fit my broad shoulders and long torso better. Love those burgundy cords, and I recognize that Athleta jacket. I have it as well and in the same color. It's a winner for me in cool spring weather. The only store selling anything made from natural fibres is Aritizia. The rest of it is a sea of synthetics.  I did pick up a cotton top and a silk scarf from Aritizia and had to tear myself away from a cute pair of brown suede sneakers at Brown's. I conclude that online shopping is The Way for me. There is so much out there that doesn't apply to my life now - office wear, heels, dressy/formal wear, shapewear, jewelry, etc. I still enjoy visiting specific sections of department stores, but I'm usually there to return something I bought online. :-) On the other hand, I found really good white t-shirts at Banana Republic, in the men's section. 100% Supima, narrow cut, wide-ish collar - <a rel="nofollow" href="https://bananarepublic.gap.com/browse/product.do?pid=811425022&vid=1&pcid=80117&cid=80117&nav=meganav%3AMEN%3AMEN%27S+CLOTHING%3AT-Shirts#pdp-page-content">https://bananarepublic.gap.com.....8;cid=8011</a>. Comparable to COS, but not boxy in shape. As to sizes, I am reliably an XL in women's tops, and a Large in men's tops. I only wear white t-shirts under sweaters, so I like them to fit fairly close. I have broad shoulders and am not petite, so a men's cut fits me well. And the quality is SO MUCH BETTER.  Here's what I wore - emphasis on comfort head to toe.
