I had also purchased a cheap ebay cape based on a picture she sent me. You had provided great feedback and suggestions on how to handle this on Christmas morning.</p> <p>So I gave DD the Maje coat and NOT the inexpensive ebay one. After much consideration I decided not to detract from the Maje and to hope she would see its beauty. And she did! I am not sure she understands quite completely its value (financial or in terms of long-term fashion) but she at least really seemed to like it for now -- and I am hopeful that in time, she will come to love and value it more.</p> <p>Thanks for your help with this one. </p>
