Equipment’s wool and cashmere cardigans seem to last years and any pills that form are easily removed.  I pamper my long cardigans because they pill and snag more than my other knits.  I take them off and carry them separately when driving or wearing a winter coat so they don’t rub against the coat lining or seat belt. I wish I had a recommendation for you :(  Both BR sweaters I bought last year were complete garbage. Completely ratted out and matty-looking in less than 10 wears... and cannot be saved with a shaver. In this case the pilling is more on the arms. Or where my bag is...as per Jessikams. I use my fancy de-piller and it helps a little -- but so much work for so little reward, LOL.  Thank you, Inge -- and Angie, Rachy,  Bella, Brooklyn, Bijou, Shevia, JAileen, Sarah DB, Cardiff Girl, Phoebe, Sal, Joy, Kelly, LisaP. And anyone I might have missed!  Re the scarf, Unfrumped, one "culling" and "choosing" method that has mostly worked for me -- scarves that have a bit of white or light grey  in the pattern are a slam dunk for me as a rule. If there is no light neutral that works with my hair, then it should be a fantastic colour for me. So I do own a few scarves without white bits but they are in my best reds/ pinks/ magenta/ fuchsia tones.  Jenni, ha ha - I have the marvellous afternoon light to thank for that photo~~ it was exactly the way they say you are supposed to have it for a Zoom meeting, except how I could set my computer up to catch that light is, well, a technological mystery!  Sheryl and Roxanna and Angie -- thanks for those tips. No ideas on the cardigan. There are so many out there and so hard to tell how they might hold up- good luck! Scarf is great-/ and a good inspiration to continue my scarf editing. There are some that years old and still work better than newer ones, so I’m trying to learn my lessons on why, what not to buy, what is worth grabbing when it turns up.
