Those things have 9 lives. I have worn them out in the snow but I haven't tried "accidentally" spilling coffee on them. I don't have the heart to tell DH that I don't care for them, because he was so proud of himself Christmas '12 when he got these for me. Also, he has hit the nail on the head and bought me ultra fabulous shoes and boots in other years ;) Liz, I have one dog and one cat. The other two doggies belong to my MIL, we are (were) taking care of them while she was in FL for the month. MaryK, that pic does look like Angie's looking at me - she's probably thinking, "I'm not so sure about the length of those pants!" Your outfits are just fantastic... totally appropriate for teaching.  I think with those Ugg-type boots, you have to realize they are not for style, but for comfort.  I wear mine to bum around and to commute to and from work.  I have the same sweater in black in #19. For "dress down at work", I think if you took one of your weekend type items and then paired with all dressy other items you could work it. Like, a fancy sweatshirt with a pencil and heels. Or faded denim with a silk blouse, nice blazer, and smart booties (maybe not work appropriate, but you catch my drift). It looks like you did a great job dressing up your pants and down your skirts, too bad you didn't feel super inspired. Challenges are great ways to get motivated, aren't they? I am soooo tired of this long, cold winter, and of winter dressing. And last month I was all, "This is the first month I'm happy with every outfit." This month, ahem, that's not quite the case. Oh, well. On to the outfits... So it was dress down month at work. That was hard for me, as when I dress down I like to try a bit of an edgier look (well, edgier for me, anyway). Faded jeans, fancy sweatshirt, etc. But I won't do that for work as I simply don't think it's appropriate, dress down month or not. So I tried to dress up my dress down pants, and I tried to dress down my skirts.  What did I learn? Well, my favorite outfits are the ones I did for the challenge (#1, #10). Perhaps I need to challenge myself, and not just go with "Well, it's dress down month, so whateva..." I like patterns, and I think they like me back (#1, 16, 10, 15). Stand out in a crowd? OK. Go bold or go home! Some notes on the rest: <div>#9 - I'm trying to be a good wifey and wear these Bearpaw boots - a gift from DH (Christmas '12).  But I don't like them, so I'm also trying to wear them out (the darn things are determined to last forever!). Don't tell DH on me, OK? It'll be our little secret. #7 - I wore the first two outfits on the left. The rest was just me playing around with different variations. #8 - I wore this with the flats, but I prefer it with the heels. I wore the flats because I wanted to see if they were comfy enough to bring to Boston and wear all day.  So there you have it. Next time, March, please leave the snow with February! </div>
