Mica also irritates my eyes. My solution has been to just use eyeliner to define my eye and that doesn't seem to bother them. I hear you on the sore eyes and no makeup I frequently get irritated eyelids which itch and when really bad they swell slightly! Not attractive! The doctors gave me some steroid cream which I hate using as it can thin the skin but I got so desperate last weekend (4 day bank holiday weekend for queens jubilee) I used the steroid cream and took some old but in date steroids I had for a swollen face last year and antihistamines!! Today after a bang trim I had my make up done. She used minimal to no shimmer. I can feel my eyes getting irritated. I guess my new look will be nude eye, mascara's ok, and a strong lip. Sigh, I loved a smokey eye. </p>
