Long toes has always made finding sandals that fit well a challenge for me.</p> <p><b>Joy</b> - My heaviest winter coats and sweaters came with me when I moved to NC but I've never had to use them, we have mild winters (it can get below freezing at night, but it doesn't last long and freezing temps are rare during the daytime). However, I am able to use these pieces when I travel to the northern US (my puffer coats and heaviest sweaters).&nbsp;</p> <p>We have a wide variety of birds in the summer here, many of them are smaller breeds I do not know the names of. And we have a lot of hummingbirds, including hummingbird moths too. Outfit #1 is all items I bought at different times that just seemed to work well together. I really liked this combination of a blouse with shorts, it's a nice change from shorts and a graphic tee. I also plan to try this outfit with my navy/pink stripe Adidas sneakers in the future. The cork sandals, it took a long time for me to find a style that fit my foot correctly. My long toes often hang off the slanted toe box. :)</p> <p><b>JAileen </b>- This bat tee is a favorite at this time of year, because it's a subtle nod to Halloween. A birding trip sounds fun! And I never would have thought bats would be attracted to hummingbird feeders, how interesting! Later this week we'll finally have some low 50F in the evening weather, but it'll be back to 78F in the daytime by the weekend again.
