The dress was, as I feared, just shapeless and unflattering. (Somehow the crew neckline didn't look as nice in person to make up for the slouchy fit.) The fabric was not what I expected, a silky woven rather than a knit. I liked the fabric, but I think shopping in person might be the only way to get slouchy right, because just a tad too much fabric in one direction or another and you're just wearing a bag. But so far delicate machine wash + drying rack has been fine for me. I was eyeing one of their Maya dresses in a geometric print in a sort of sky blue and acid green, and I totally had a skirt in those colors in the 90s. I skipped it because I don't love that blue near my face. It's a shame, because the geometric print is actually more than the one I ended up ordering! I don't love everything on the site, but I sure love a lot. Their looks feel a teensy bit mid-to-late 1990s/early Y2K to me.   It also reminds me of Desigual, but more grounded and accessible (or do I mean, mature?)   Okay, I'm revising the previous statement:  It's as if Desigual and Boden had a love-child together, and I am smitten.   I'm going to keep an eye on their tropical prints, going into summer. I love the jumpsuits, but those would definitely be for my fantasy life. I ordered one of the cool slouchy dresses with a desert scene on it. I can 100% imagine taking the kids to the pool club or walking the dog in it on a hot day (and I have a beach vay-cay coming up). My real life--less glamorous, but I still love fun clothes! I ordered 3 items last summer: an Issa jumpsuit, a Harper pant, and A Zoe shirt. I was inspired by Stacy London - she was wearing The Kit on her Instagram and looked fabulous. The items are lovely, well made, with bright colors. I get a lot of complements on them. I picked prints that came in 100% cotton fabrication. I got my size wrong on my first order and returns/exchanges were super easy.
