If that happens this year (&amp; highs are only in the 50s now), wide leg denim might be just the thing. I like wide legs for variety, but I really understand the color choice. I like faded blue jeans for summer better than dark denim, but like dark denim the rest of the year as it seems more dressy. The cigarette style are a classic while the wide legs come and go. You might look at wide crops for a summer refresher later if you feel the need for one. They may still feel too warm for your climate.
