You have to be careful about how the garment will fit the bust (it might 'collapse' and possibly the waist (might drop). The tailor might have to add fabric to the lining to still allow for a lining drop, unless the coat is made to accommodate alterations. I am returning the Lela Rose. The color of the Tibi also makes me happy because it reminds me of my rehearsal dinner dress. You are correct that the Hobbs is too short for my dresses and I need something longer also. I am looking for two lengths of trench, one for my jeans and a topper/blazer, and one for my midi length dresses. I think the Lela Rose it is too large though. The Lela Rose was a much nicer material and better construction, with a lining, nicely finished seams, etc. The Tibi was a tech material, unlined, and something that I might keep and use for travel because it is so light and compact. DH prefers the size 8, but if it is really too small maybe the 10 can be altered. </p>
