There have been some brilliant coat scores at this years NAS. avebabe that’s a really good suggestion. Sadly the Caslons are available in Canada in every colour but ivory! I’ve pinned up the sleeves and my coat will be dropped off tomorrow. Super fab modness! It looks great with your whites underneath and with your jeans and loafers. I think you can go very sleek and sophisticated with a column of black, cream, cognac, or whatever strikes your fancy underneath, as others have suggested. But I can also see some fun pattern-mixing, like vertical stripes in a compatible palette. Or textures like tweed or corduroy. A mini-skirt and knee-high boots. A soft, gathered chiffon dress and heels. Well, that depends on you & whether you often find long sleeves get in the way, lol? I know suit jackets are supposed to reach the base of your thumb, but personally I hate the feeling of it covering my wrist like that. I like the groovy flower pattern too - you have the 'real estate' in height to pull it off It works with white or black, but I could even see it with a pop of chartreuse to really lean into a retro mod & 'spicy earthtones' look? PS - When I originally read the title, I thought you meant that it started raining right after buying this coat. Not sure whether that would have been a good or bad thing! If it were in my colours, it would be mine. It's FANTASTIC on you.  Sleeve length looks good to me.
