Please post some WIWs! Love your style! And I thought the Adashi was quite perfect. It was scaled right for you. The other one looked imbalanced, although I hear you on the comfort factor. If the eBay one doesn't work, I would consider the Adashi once more.

I think you made the right decision. For a major investment, you really need to love it. I really, really like the Theyskins Theory jacket. Keeping my fingers crossed for you.

Well, I decided to return both, though both are quite nice. Neither is perfect and it was around a month's rent, so... not worth it if it's not perfect!

Instead, I got this off ebay from my favorite label (Theyskens Theory) at a great price, so I'm hoping it fits as well as I remember it in the store long ago.
http://www.net-a-porter.com/am/product/371475
Fingers crossed.

You know... I think neither looks as good as my current jacket, though they're both much nicer quality. Maybe I should hold out for something else. Wearing the Dalayan feels amazing, but that's partly because it's so oversized.

I actually love both of them! But I think the sleeves on the second one are a bit wide for your tiny frame! But then again, that could be a good thing if you're wearing it over a bulky topper. You look very tough in both of them, though!

I think the sleeves are too long on the Dalayan (they are abit long on both but more noticeably on the 2nd one), although agree that the looser body is nice. The Adashi is dreamy. Just depends on whether you will be happy with that cropped silhouette. Looking again, I think neither is the perfect one, although I don't know your tastes that well. I wonder if you would have luck at an actual motorcycle leather shop?

I absolutely love the Adashi on you. I personally love my cropped moto because it works better for me with dresses, tunics as well as pants. I do think it is more flattering to your proportions if you want to elongate your leg line. I like the dalayan too but it's a different look because it's oversized on you. They are both gorgeous jackets. What is calling to you? Does one make you feel more wonderful? Because in the end if you feel wonderful in it and you totally own that look that's what everyone is really going to see.

Mine have a neon orange ankle strap.
Ok back to your jacket. I like the looser fit in the body of Dalayan. Been feeling the more boxier fit in moto jackets. BUT the sleeves look too long.
I like the sleeves better on the Adashi.
Not sure if that will help.
I do not have a iconic black moto jacket. Go figure.

I've been on an epic quest for the perfect replacement for the biker jacket I wear almost daily. (It's full of holes now.) It's definitely my statement look.

I started out looking for a classic Perfecto-style jacket. After a year of looking, buying, and returning, this season two good contenders came into the scene. I snapped up both in last week's 25% off sales, and I will keep one or neither.

1. Theory Adashi jacket - cropped, close fitting. I bought it in a S. It fits through the shoulders and sleeves very well.
http://www.theory.com/Adashi-L.....&star

2. Theory Dalayan jacket - boyfriend style, very loose. I bought it in P (extra small) and it's still quite big, probably bigger than intended.
http://www.theory.com/Dalayan-.....#038;start

My friend bought the Dalayan in S (she's usually M) and it looks perfect on her. On me, though, even the P seems to overwhelm me. But, it is amazing to wear and the salesgirl loved it on me (she has an interest in selling it of course). I fell in love with it, but now I'm less sure.

The Adashi, on the other hand, is much more cropped than I usually wear - but perhaps that's good for me. I'm 5'4" with a long torso and short limbs. A cropped jacket might lengthen my legs, but I'm not used to it. (Also, I know the sleeves are too long on both, but that's just the way it always is.)

Both are on the bulky side for indoor wear, so it would be outerwear more than a topper.

The first three photos are the Adashi and the second three are the Dalayan. What are your thoughts? One? The other? Neither? Thanks so much. Both are serious money, so I've been agonizing over this all month.
