I did this a couple of months ago - everything's organised into garment style (skirts/trousers/dresses/tops), then by colour, then left to right by sleeve length - it saves SO MUCH TIME in the morning co-ordinating outfits! A friend came over and nearly fell over laughing as she thought it was FAR too organised and I'd wasted my time. Boy did I cop some teasing.... so when she moved house I sorted her things into the same order and she was amazed at how easy it was to find things. I'm using rolled-up magazines to hold my taller boots upright, but they only partially do the trick. I would love to have better shoe and boot storage. I'm thinking of getting one of those closet companies to come redo our closet to make better use of our vertical space.
