I visit the Fluevog shop occasionally and I try stuff on all the time!</p> <p>Una: those first ones, the Roxana shoes -- be wary. I really, really wanted a pair of the short boots from that shoe family (the Adriana Nuni). They were perfect in every respect -- stylish and comfortable, and perfect for one of my few remaining true wardrobe holes, as well as great for the Pacific Northwest climate. Except when I got them home, I noticed a pretty big manufacturing defect, a stitching issue that made one of the shoes quite uncomfortable. I returned them, and tried on a second pair -- the only other pair in Vancouver in my size. The left one felt funny when I walked. When I took them off, I could see that the left heel was on crooked (rotated). So they shipped in a third pair from Toronto. These were nearly OK, but had the same stitching defect as the first pair. Fluevog offered to pay for it to be re-stitched at their local cobbler, so I took them there myself. The cobbler fixed up the stitching defect in no time, but she noticed that one of the heels was HIGHER than the other. I'm not kidding! Like, over a centimeter higher. So I gave up, took them back and got my money back.</p> <p>You know I'm a fan of the brand, but there are definitely some quality issues, at least with this shoe family. I wouldn't order them online, but if you do, check them carefully before you wear them.</p> <p>Fruitful: those Cortonas are heavenly. I've tried them on and they fit true to size. I have the short boots (Vermeers) from that shoe family.</p> <p>Meghan R: those Adrians are really cool, but be aware that they fit long and narrow. I can't wear any shoes from that family because they don't make them small enough. I'm usually a size 5.5 or 6, and the smallest is a 6, but it fits more like a 7. Makes it super hard to go via Ebay (I'm normally around 8.5, had to get my Fluevog Mirellas in a 10 - an Ebay seller is proclaiming them "true to size!", they are so not! Also, I tried on these Baroque Cortonas and I was not a 10).
