It was also coincided with a huge college football game, the Apple Cup between my alma mater Washington State University and University of Washington. I did not attend the game.<br /> The colors of WSU are crimson and silver (basically burgundy and grey). The colors of U of W are purple and gold.<br /> The entire time I was home I lived in my sheeny shiny gold puffer vest. It did not dawn on my until driving home today that I wore the wrong colors.<br /> For the record WSU won, which was a big shocker. </p>
