Thanks everyone for the responses. DonnaF you are so right saying that I will never be a pear. That is the main thing I get from body shapes, well I know I'm not that one, the other three are a bit trickier to pen point. Scarlet and Laura could I be a curvy IT or an Hourglass with IT as a second. Not really sure about the hourglass vs IT. Is it having a defined waist that makes you an hourglass or your hips being as wide as your shoulders?

I agree, you seem to be going toward IT a bit, although you've still got an hourglass thing happening especially from the sides. Strong-shouldered hourglass?

I would also say leaning toward IT. I don't think I saw your original post. It's kind of interesting though, because even though your hips look very slim, you have a well-defined waist.

Absolutely your shape can change. I remember saying to myself a year or (probably) two after DD was born that I needed to bite the bullet and invest in new bras since my size had changed. Well, wouldn't you know it. My size changed again within three months! I guess my ribcage contracted to where it had been.

Yeah, these pics make you look like an IT (inverted triangle). You will probably always have a nice strong shoulder line even if your other dimensions fluctuate, so I doubt you will ever be a pear! Hope this helps!

Shapes do change throughout the post partum period. I was apple for the first 3-6 months after DD was born. I moved to a pear at 6-12 months out. Now, at 12 months, I am starting to feel more like an hourglass.

Even so, I have noticed my body shape has permenently changed. My hips are wider. I still have the mama pooch, and according to my mom, our family genetics say it is never going away.

So I posted about a month ago and you guys helped a ton saying that I was an hourglass with a secondary apple. Lately I have been starting to wonder if that is still true. My hips seem smaller and my tummy too. Could I be tending towards a triangle? Whenever I did the trace your body to see what shape you are method my hips were definatly smaller then my shouldes but then I have such a large bust does that even matter? So has my shape changed and if so then to what?
