The fabric is a thin silky material and the tape did not show. It peels off easily at the end of the night too. If you have a slightly sloping shoulder shape, the pads will just bring your shoulder into line with the way the dress was designed. Sometimes pinning the shoulder seams at the neckline &amp; tapering towards the shoulder line will fix the gaping lining or try some really small shoulder pads they can help too.Fingers crossed it looks fab </p>
