We don’t know if we will see them—my mother is so frightened that we would bring the virus from here that we’d probably all be tense the whole time. Otoh, my son very much wants christmas with them. My parents are spending their first winter up north in ages. They typically spend the winter in Florida, except for a couple weeks around Christmas. This year it’s all up north. I sent them Uniqlo fuzzy yarn jackets and Heat Tech a few weeks ago. I’ll just post this long enough for you guys to see.<br /> Your comment about Florida is relevant even though they aren’t there. I am livid that my sister insists on the WDW family vacation they planned a year ago, and will see our parents a week later. Some of them will ask me at that point which one I want. Repeatedly. Anything that’s in my cart on the US site vanishes when I get shunted to the European, but it’s usually there when I go back. </p> <p>When I purchased some fuzzy yarn jackets and Heat Tech stuff for my parents from Uniqlo’s US site, I had a problem with my card. It is on a US bank, but my billing address is German (the German bank card didn’t work at all). I emailed customer service and the sale went through a couple days later. Fortunately, everything was still in stock and available for the same price. </p> <p>I still haven’t figured out how to google “tracksuit dress” and have it pull up results in the US. If I include “USA” in the search term, I get star-spangled, red, white &amp; blue results—which are not on US sites. When I know what I want, like getting the socks from Free People for my sister or the Uniqlo stuff for my parents, I deal with it.
