Ah ha. Your next project when you feel up to it. No rush. But to Antje's point, the wrap top looks fab. Now picture the right wrap dress. We are here to help you!

Quite right Dani - SNN stands for signature Nicole necklace.

You’ll be the best judge whether the AT outfit is dressy enough for the wedding. It looked wonderful, and you could wear it to work.

Have you tried a wrap dress, Nicole?

Nicole, I think SNN is signature Nicole necklace, but I could be wrong. I loved your white & green AT skirt and if the wedding is as casual as you mentioned in other posts, I think you will be dressed appropriately (and very stylishly too)!

Shell, all of those dresses are beautiful--I love every single one of them...but I can't wear anything with a seam that falls under the bust. It never lands where it's supposed to. I also can't wear strapless bras. I'm just too big busted.

Angie, What SNN? (We need a thread with all our acronyms!)

Ana, Someone else posted that dress for themselves while ago (sorry I dont recall who it was). I loved the dress then, but I can't wear anything that draws a line that close to my bustline. It makes my boobs look like they are riding lower than they really are. Reminds me of my NonnyMa--God rest her soul.

I'm still thinking the white and green AT skirt is my best option for the wedding. At least so far. I already returned the Kohls dress.

What about this dress? I'm just asking because it reminds me a bit of the Kohl's dress, but it has a V-neck and things. It does have a waist band, but it seems to be down lower than other empire type tops:

http://www.bananarepublic.com/.....pid=574996

I'm thinking about picking this one up as well, probably later in the summer though.

I agree with the ladies about the dress and a two piece would be better as far as the top-to-bottom size discrepancy goes. Or altering as you suggested. Your body loves V-necks or tops that create a lower neckline as Julia cleverly visualized.

The white shirt looks killer! You look extremely hourglass-y in it and it’s very flattering. Nice sleeve length. Love the ruching and the way you’ve layered the cami. I know it’s hard for you to find woven tops that work so a special well done to you. You look beautiful in black and white. Complete the look with the SNN!

I have tried the last one in store. The shape is good but the fabric is very thin and clingy. I thought it looks better in the picture. Just wanted to give you my piece of experience.

nicole - i think your best bet for a dress would be something with a defined top, middle, and bottom. i'd try something with an empire waist and a fuller skirt to balance out your top.

Here are a few ideas...

http://www.jcrew.com/catalog/p.....=cat303194

I hear you Nicole. Maybe instead of dresses, you could try separated pieces in similar colors to create a 'dress' look? Just a thought.

HA Very clever Julia! I dunno...it definately looks better as a V neck--no doubt about it--but it's just not working on the rest of me either. I'm going to return the dress. I really do have a difficult time finding dresses that fit me. Even with MAJOR alterations, they never look quite right.

It would be one thing if I was one or two sizes different on top than on bottom, but my size difference is so great. That white rouched button down top I posted today is a size 14 at Ny and Co. I don't typically buy tops in numbered sizes. That shirt has a little stretch to it, but it fits me in the bust pretty well. The white Levi jeans--those are 8's. That's a pretty big size discrepency.

Nicole, I edited your picture and added the v-neck from another picture of yours to it, it does look better. I think it has potentials.

I think the print is a dream; it's exactly the sort of thing I'm hoping to find for a wedding I'll be going to. There does seem to be something slightly off in the fit, but perhaps that could be fixed with alteration? I'm not sure.

Ok, this is the black and white dress I tried on at Kohls, didn't buy, then decided to order it and see if I can have the neck altered into a V-neck. (my mother said no problem).

But, I don't think I picked the same print--this one has circles, which I think just accentuates my boobs more. When I was looking online, I couldn't remember which design I tried on. I don't think I like the dress. It might be too big in the waist/hip/bum area. I'll let you guys be the judge. (btw, this would be my fall back dress for my nephew's June wedding...but I'm really not liking it the more I look at it.)
