I have almost the same FP top, from maybe three years ago. I also like the sleeve detail, and I find it great for layering on a cold day. Helen and UmmLila, I actually managed to travel really light for this conference. That's a first! Maybe that's because of the advice I am getting here. Style Fan, I LOVE Frye. Such a great combination of fashion and function. My boots are a couple of years old but look better than ever. They are so tough. Deborah, you are an inspiration I picked up the dress on a trip OS in 2010. (I said it was old!) It is by a brand called Spense which I have not heard of before or since. It was not expensive - around $60 AUD. However, I did buy a few things from the missoni/target collection - including some very nice towels! During the week I had to go interstate for a conference and I took the jacket as part of my "travel capsule". I was very pleased with how it updated some of my older dresses, and I thought I would share the results. Outfits 1 and 2 are the said older dresses that I wore on days 1 and 2 of the conference. You can see I took to wearing the jacket fully zipped up and with my bag slung cross body. I wore my Frye boots. These are a little bit rugged and would not normally be my first choice for wearing with a skirt, but I did not want to take more shoes than necessary. On day 3 I wore jeans (it was a pretty casual conference). I wore a Free People top underneath the jacket. I really love the cuffs on this top, and how they peeked out from under the jacket. I am not so wild about the neckline of the top, so I layered over a long knit tunic that is a recent purchase from Aussie store Veronika Maine. The top has a sort of slit at the front - that's why you see the FP top underneath. Sorry for the dodgy hotel room photos. Any comments, questions, suggestions welcome.
