I think it helps.</p> <p>The skirt in all the photos is Bobeau -- I know I'm on a skirt moratorium for fall/winter, but I do wear them in summer. This one feels like a tee shirt -- ahhh. I like the length, color, and asymmetric detail, and it was $22. </p> <p>The b&amp;w top in 1-2 is by Eight-Sixty. I've learned that when I find tops that feel like summer tees but have a bit more style, they're worth nabbing.</p> <p>The jacket in 3-4 is Free People. Mixed media faux leather and a soft, lightweight cotton. I looked at this at full price a while back and didn't pull the trigger, but this was a great deal, and this will be my denim jacket alternative, since I wear my denim jacket so much. I could see it even getting more wear than the denim jacket. </p> <p>Top in 5-6 is Vince silk sleeveless blouse. Do I need another sleeveless shirt? Not especially, but again, this is classic, well-made, comfortable, and one of my favorite colors. And less than a quarter of what it originally retailed for. I've found some great deals on Vince stuff by waiting until it hits the Rack.</p> <p>Last, the b&amp;w Vince sandals. I have purged enough old sandals that there is room in my closet for another couple carefully-chosen pairs. I love the black and white and think it will work really well with my summer wardrobe. They're the right balance of casual and refined. And comfortable! I like the black footbed too -- might be a weird detail to focus on, but trust me, walking around a gritty city, you learn that anything that hides the dirt is good.</p> <p>What do you think? I'm pretty sure these are all keepers unless something is drastically off. In fact, I may wear 1-2 today, head-to-toe. </p>
