Even if you are a winter-think it looks great on your lower half! But it might be rather the amount of color which we do feel is too much as if rather wearing us instead of looking great! I do have the same problems, with all the non neutral LONG pants I have tried for myself:-((. Suz - I know just what you mean! I picked up these pants thinking the colour would be far away from my face and hence wearable (atleast in theory), but it wasn't. It was TOO MUCH Coral. I am so glad these shorts work. Its hard to find knee shorts these days...everything I come across is really really short! Transforming old boring pants into knee-shorts may be my only shot to get some this season! :D Diane - Thank you so much. I got the idea of  cutting down on the expanse of the colour in the shower I get some of my best ideas in the shower! Cheryle - I haven't found a coral that has worked for me yet. I have tried the colour in tops, shirts, bottoms and even camis. I am talking about a coral thats more towards the orange side than pink...the pink-er versions work fine. I love the idea of coablt and coral, so I am hoping that I will finally get to wear it now. Melaine - Colours are tricky.  Surprisingly, I can wear coral lipstick! And that's ON my face, not even near it! But I look washed out in coral tops. I had bought my cobalt skirt last summer hoping to pair it with a coral top, but that simply didn't happen. They went so well with so many things in my closet and "should" have worked. It was a chance for me to wear a colour I can't ordinarily wear because the colour wasn't close to my face. But I couldn't stand them and ended up passing them along to a mother forum member.  This absolutely breaks up the expanse of the colour and is a really fun look. The white also keeps it fresh. I had a pair of coral pants that I wore sometimes….and I am wearing in an old post <a rel="nofollow" href="http://youlookfab.com/welookfab/topic/hewi-found-the-perfect-white-blouse">here</a>. But…I never loved it on myself. As someone who has Winter colouring, this warm coral simply doesn’t flatter me. But the pants were comfortable and hence ideal to wear around the home. So I got thinking…why not try to make the pants a little more wearable? I rolled the hems one time to get the ‘capri’ look and decided that with a little skin show, the pants look better. Last weekend, I decided to convert them into knee shorts. And that did the trick! I’m wearing them with a different white top today, and I like these shorts way way better than I ever liked the pants! What do you guys think? Was this a successful transformation for the pants?
