I managed to buy the Kettlewell jersey maxi skirt in purple last winter, but am still dithering on whether it's the 'right' purple for me. Maybe that's why I keep buying purple in bottoms, instead of anywhere near my face lol... </p> <p>And @Brooklyn those photos look similar to the inspiration photos I have pinned to my moodboard for decorating my own place - planning to marry together Chinese &amp; Pakistani influences using teal, purple, chocolate &amp; gold (instead of the usual red that you frequently find in Pan Asian art). The right purple is great, but for me it has to be a warm plummy purple with lots of red and brown in it, almost burgundy. Blue-based purples miss the mark (maybe because they match the dark circles under my eyes? ). It's an eye enhancer, since my eyes are hazel, but just too cool toned to wear with black or jewel tones (on me).<br /> So I default to wearing it with burgundy, orange, or brown to keep in my dark autumn lane.<br /> The skirt is from NAS a few years ago, and I recently overdyed it to move the color a little redder. Since the other pieces are new this year it's a debut pairing!<br /> ETA sorry about my dusty mirror :/ </p>
