You might try different shades of cognac in good natural light against your skin to see what shade is best. On my monitor this jacket looks great.<br /> You might think of getting a couple of scarves that you like with the jacket to wear around your neck to protect the jacket collar from skin oils. I think it's a timeless style. Will you also plan to wear it with dresses and skirts? Would love to see it with any other pairings and also done up on the zip to give an accurate assessment. It is quite a pretty jacket but it is much lower contrast on you than the jacket was on the pic you posted in #1. It looks nice with your skin tone but I do think your coloring might "pop" more with a bit darker/bolder color. It's very soft leather and fits well, I think, but I'm not sure of the color after all. It's definitely cognac, but I'm worried that it's too yellow-based of a shade for me. Pictures #2-4&nbsp;show the color in varying lights. Picture #5 is a color comparison of the jacket with my chestnut boots.&nbsp;<br /><br />So, a few questions:<br />1. Cognac color: yay or nay? Would a warmer/deeper color like that of my boots be better?<br />2. How about the style of the jacket? I want something classic that I can wear with most everything.<br />3. Fit? It fits well overall but I want to make sure it's not too long in the waist.<br /><br />I'd like a jacket that's a 10 and I'm willing to wait for just the right thing, so please be brutally honest.&nbsp;Thanks in advance for your thoughts. :D<br /><br />
