So funny that there's so much discussion about it!</p> <p>As a Canadian who has been frustrated with HBC as a store for many years, I am hoping that their acquisition of Sak's means that YOUR stores will stay awesome and OURS will improve in service and merchandise. Thus making it awesome for everyone everywhere!</p> <p>Canada has not done well with department stores in recent decades (just google Eaton's or Ogilvy's sometime) so this could be very exciting. As I said on Nicole's thread, I also think its linked to the fact that Nordstrom is coming to Canada as well. HBC needs to up their game. Shannon posted that their website has already improved so this is good.
