The color is gorgeous on you and that cut and style suits you so well. I like it with and without the belt so this gives you some versatility and I think it works as is i.e. no alterations required. Great color, and I like how it is structured but still leaves room for some blessed airflow when it's hot. I don't think it works with the waist belt, though. Maybe a hipslung version? I really like the dress and think the size can work. I don't think it looks too big and I don't think the style is meant to be figure hugging anyway. I do think you're right about the straps needing shortening and like it both belted and unbelted. I vote for keep and alter the straps. Like JR, I love it with the colour coordinating slippers! Anyway, back then I knew Med was too big. This is a Small. It is meant to have a 'balloon' fit in the bodice. But it is still a tad bigger than I expected. I pinned up the straps with clothespins (ignore them!) to see if strap shortening would help (6-8). I'm thinking no. Oddly, the looser, low hang fit seems more flattering (3-5). I also tried belting. What do you think? Keep and leave as is, keep and belt, keep and shorten the straps. Or return? As always, thanks for your time and opinions! (I know it's K/R mayhem with NAS going on)
