I've always worn belts as a decorative accessory since high school. Self-belts, skinny belts, wide belts, shiny, all sorts of colours, suede, leather, embossed, braided, leopard, metal, chains, slung low on hips, or high around my waist. I wear belts with dress pants, jeans, shorts, and over dresses, skirts, and sometimes sweaters. These are my belts I mostly wear now (below), save a medium brown leather belt for which I don't have a picture, yet. One is a gorgeous blush pink and cream, from Halogen, and the second is a wide brown leather belt with rawhide stitching that I used to wear over a denim dress. The last one is a very pretty black leather skinny belt, that has a loop instead of a buckle. This one actually has been worn in the last few years , because it gives a dress some definition, but doesn't call attention to my midsection. I like the good quality leather ones from Talbots. A lot of belts are either really poorly made or bizarrely expensive. I own two dressy/skinny belts as well. But I also like to belt my pants, denim shorts, and sometimes wear over a top or dress.</p> <p>I’d love to see all the belts you wear with your outfits and how you style with them. It’s fun to get inspired this way! It can be super casual or dressy or anything in between. </p>
