Take this all with a huge grain of salt, as I am realizing I really want a favorite structured bag to replace a couple that owe me nothing and I think it's coloring my response here. Looking at your wardrobe, you have plenty of structure in the clothing, so you could go either way with bags. I just have loved what the Brahmin does in all of your outfits. I loved the first two photos of the bag and the beautiful finish and color. I like the bag less when I see how it looks in action. I am traveling this week with a similarly configured bag and your photos helped me nail down my discontent. While YMMV, I am finding the 2 short handles not so functional in an unstructured bag (love them on a satchel) and the shoulder strap/double handles a bit unrefined given my major preference for structured bags. </p> <p> By the way, missing the beloved striped Brahmin is a big regret here. Big but soft and&nbsp;slouchy so not overwhelming.&nbsp;</p> <p>I would wear it with very simple outfits and of course my ink blue capsule would fit right in. Probably would mostly carry in hand like a briefcase or on the shoulder as in 4.&nbsp;</p> <p>It was not in The Plan, though, and not particularly summery (though I do already have summery bags).&nbsp;</p> <p>I dunno... has my perseverance paid off, or am I stuck in the past on this one?&nbsp;</p> <p>Yay = pounce<br />Nay = move on </p>
